Poetic Sunday
Every Moment of You
- Sung Shi Kyung
When you smile, dazzling sunlight shine
Sometimes I gaze at you
A starlight that has flown to me for several light years
Is you right now

Is you right now

Mr. Mr.
Hormones. Mood swing. I really don't understand them. How can you be in a bad mood because of one thing and totally levels up to being in a cloud 9 in a split second. Because of one text message T.T
Fragile. Sensitive. Over think is your hobby. Oh my. Girls, yes you can't control your feelings. You can't control your hormones that will go haywire once in a month but you can and should control your actions.
At this age (teenagers' phase in life) you would want to own things that belong to others. Jealousy is another issue. There's a lot of issues in life. You must learn to think and handle them one by one carefully. You might think that you're so unfortunate for not being born in a rich family etc but we really don't know what's happening in other people's life.
We don't have the right to judge based on their appearance. Based on the number of likes of their Facebook's post and their pictures in Instagram. You see, when people show things like that in their social media, they only show the good side of everything.
In this world, everyone has their own struggle. You might not realise it but lots of other people wish to be in your place right now. So people, be grateful of what you have. Cherish what life has to offer you. You never know what life bring tomorrow. Or maybe you only have until today. Well.
It is totally fine to hope and strive for the better. But, don't forget to cherish the present. Sorry for my 'berterabur' points. Just feeling a bit gloomy. So, need to boost my spiriti a bit.

Volunteering at SMU(A) Darus Salam, Kuala Krai
Assalamualaikum :D
#SmallChangesBigDifference
Today is 2nd Ramadan. I hope that we will make full use of this holy month to gain Allah's reda and to change to the better InshaAllah. This is the month where all our du'as will be granted. Amin.
I am truly inspired by the quote told by Abg Azri during our stay in SMU (A) Darus Salam, Kuala Krai last Saturday. He told us that we have to be grateful for what we have. We are blessed with talents, wealth and knowledge compared to these kids. Hence, we are expected to give back to the society as a sign that we are grateful of what we have now.
Honestly, I thought that this two days will be a brief stay and I don't expect much of excitement and anticipation from the students. However, they opened my eyes. Their spirit and hard work to learn and to succeed was by far beyond my expectation. They were amazing. Not giving up. Asking lots of Science, Math and History questions. Trying to understand everything that I explained. I was a bit blur at first because their Science was taught in Malay. I had a bit of a problem to translate the English terms into Malay. haha
To portray my experience into words, I would like to share Affan's post. " I came back yesterday getting more than what I had bargained for : new friendships, new skills and above all, a deep realisation that the education gap we have in Malaysia is just too wide. "
True, our education gap is worse than we can imagine. I was shocked as well as my friends. The school was so lucky to have such dedicated Sir Faiez and full of hardworking students. The students need to be give equal chance and exposure as much as the students living in the city. Their capability are beyond average. They just need some opportunities.
It was a very precious experience for me. As a first timer in this kind of thing, my two days stay was simply awesome. I'll show some pictures. Basically, my journey started on Thursday night. I went to the school with Syafiq, Nazual and Aiman Kamal. We reached there at midnight.
On Friday, the starting event was ice breaking. Puchong lead the Xi Shua Shua dance. At first, the students didn't give good response but then later on, we saw them enjoying the dance ad even asked for a second time. :) Sir Faiez was the teacher that initiate this program. Such a dedicated teacher. Graduated from University of Warwick. Cool kan.. Once you graduated, spare some time to give back to the society. They need us. Maybe we think it as a very small matter but in these students' life, we don't know how much have we made a difference.
The program escalated quickly with lots of fun talks and activities held. Goal setting, Options after SPM, Studying techniques, Interview tips, Fun with English, Muhasabah diri and so much more. The students eventually engaged themselves to what we want to deliver to them. Unknowingly, their spirit seemed to rise. They were determined to succeed in PT3, SMU and SPM.
Abg Shahril and Abg Long handle Fun with English session. The students need to speak in English and sell gadgets to their friends. If the speak one Malay word, they need to pay 1000 Ringgit to their friends. It was fun and they made it clear to the students that they are capable in speaking English. Confidence. That's all it takes. Malaysia seriously is in need of these passionate and dedicated teachers. Teachers who are willing to help students and wanting to see them succeed. Teachers whose minds are opened as they graduated from overseas. Abd Faiez, Abg Shahril and Abg Long, you guys make a great English teacher. Stay dedicated and good luck.
When I was about to go back, one girl reached my hand and told me to stay there a bit longer. How I wish I can help more. I heard one student told Syafiq ' Lepas ni abg xde kitorang xsemangat dah la.' Awhh hehe
Adik-adik,
We are just people in which Allah send to boost your burning spirits. Keep going and don't give up. Don't ever think that you can't do it. Boleh punya dapat A Math and Englsih. :)
The program ended at 12 am. Abg Azri and Abg Faiez took us out to lepak2 and tengok bola together. It was nice and chilling even-though I was the only girl lol. I missed them already. Hoping to join them in other projects some other time. InshaAllah

May 2018
I am so pissed of right now. I am sorry with my words for today. Don't waste your time reading them. Why do you keep messing around with our future. Please. Just wait. We're not stupid. The truth will find its way out. You think you're having a good game now? You think you're winning looking at how we just need to follow as you wish ikut kepala lutut hangpa? Terpaksa je. Nanti bila dah boleh naik kepala, orang lain la pulak yg kena pijak. Dunia sebenar ni mcm tu kan? Hangpa jugak yg ajar kami supaya jd mcm ni. Xbersyukur? Xkesahla nak kata apa. We don't care as much as you don't care when playing, toying and experimenting policies on us. What comes around goes around. And honestly, all your lawak xlawak pon okay. Hambar tahap 88. We despise your presence in our college but we endure because we need to hear the truth. The truth which you guys up there had been planning. I'm just tired. Cepatlah. Tolong lah settle everything cepat. I'm sick of these bakka 'adults'.

no title
you,
Don't expect a reply
Don't hope for anything in return
Don't start saying hi if u are scared to get frustrated
I am so jiwang xbetul tonight because tomorrow I am officially A Level's survivor hoyeah.
Alhamdulillah :D
My mixed feelings won't ever be felt and expressed
I just don't know how to describe
Bersyukur Sedih Risau Takut Excited TAWAKKAL
Over the years later, looking back, I am proud to say that ' When I was 20, I did lots of things, I tried and challenge myself, I accomplished my goals, I strive to be a better Muslimah and I didn't regret doing all of them :D '

Rejections
Too much of a simple word. Rejected. Rejection. Kena reject.
Tapi xpe, semua ni ujian. Ujian ALLAH nak tengok sejauh mana kau bersyukur dan reda dgn ujian2 yg kecil ni.
Usaha je. InshaAllah I will be flying high this September. Nak yakin jugak. Tak kira.

Tomorrow is 15th of April. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh It has been EIGHT YEARS. I only manage to hear mama and papa's wish on the phone. Without salam2 like I used to get during primary school days. I lost my important days for eight times successively already. How frustrating. Do you know what's waiting for me here in this dusty Subang ? My trials' result :0

Judgmental-Grateful-
Assalamualaikum
Personally, I think that I can cope with my stress quite well but it seems the other way round to other people. My friend keep saying that I always 'membebel, merungut' which maybe I did most of the time without realizing them. I don't think that as a negative thing as I spit them out. haha Maybe when other people heard of it, they think of me as one-noisy-xbersyukur-suka merungut-lady. Lady lol But I guess they don't know me enough to think of me that way. That are my way in coping and striving this hard study-life.
So, how do I cope with stress the right way? I always think of these kind of things when I am alone. How do I improve myself in public speaking? How do I stay positive in every situations especially the hard ones? How do I make myself as successful as others but always remember to be grateful at the same time? How I try so hard not to be judgmental and I believe that with practice, everyone can have the heart of GOLD.
No matter how close we think we are with the other person, we can't possibly penetrate into her mind and heart, we can only see what she portrays outside and that's why we don't have any rights to judge.
Let's move on. I applied for SHELL Scholarship a few weeks back. In the midst of my trials, I put so much effort in applying it. My hope is as big as the globe so as to get an offer for an interview. hehe A few days back, my friend text-ed me saying she received an email from SHELL to do an online assessment which I didn't get. T.T Now you know where this paragraph is heading to right? I was a bit disappointed hehe Hmmm Nobody can console you except yourself. I am grateful.
Dulu, xdpt petronas tp ada back up bursary. Sekarang xdpt shell ada back up jpa. Of course I am grateful. Cumanya xsalah kan kalau kita nak berusaha utk dapatkan yg terbaik. Terbaik bagi pandangan saya lah. Tp hakikatnya yg TERBAIK bg saya hanya ALLAH yg tentukan That is why no matter how hard you try, u must turn to ALLAH in the end supaya xkecewa :) I'm good. Alhamdulillah.
All I have to do now is to continue thinking and be grateful. With EVERYTHING. Smile in every situations. Cherish everyday. Train myself to love everyone and think good of everything. Your life will be much more happier. May ALLAH bless

Assalamualaikum :D
Yep. Do you see the name up there? She is my Ah-She is my sistaaa-He is my big boy.
Yeah, I call her Ah.
She is my auntie, my gang, my playground friend, my teammates to play as well as my so called enemy at times. haha I don't know what are exactly the reasons for my 'homesickness' to come knocking again after so long. Maybe, the stressful A2 trials or maybe I'm simply missing home and the FOOD! I am also not sure. One thing that I am sure is I miss them so much. Things are not the same as before anymore at home. Che Nor is not around anymore. Ah is at PALAM. Isya is so matured now haha My abe has grown so tall now.

Never give up!
Assalamualaikum :D
Giving up is not an option. You have come this far. Why do you need to lose your spirit now? Why do you keep saying "ah, malas dah ah. lantakla apa jadi" That's obviously a wrong mindset Farah oi.
You know that Allah do not measure us based on the results that we obtain. Let me tell you something. The results are already set by Him. Our rezeki, jodoh and ajal are already written. So, what's the point for Him to judge us based on what He already prepared for us. Allah don't want to see all that. What Allah want to see is how much we put our effort in getting something because of Him. Because He tells us to 'menuntut ilmu' KERANA ALLAH.
He want to see who are among His servants, that are strong enough to keep trying and keep praying when things get hard. Hard in here can be the syllabus are hard, the subjects that we rarely understand why we are learning them and stuff like that.
My point here is, stop complaining and let us renew our NIAT. We study because we want Allah to reda. We study because we want to become a successful-muslimah-geologist in the future. We want to study hard because we want to go to Edinburgh University and experience Islamic life in the UK. Tajdid our niat :)
The one that decide to give up doing good deed at the end of his life will enter Jahannam whilst the one that obediently obeys Allah's rule towards the end of his life is granted Jannah. We don't know when is our time to go and meet ALLAH, so we need to try our best ALL the time so that when the time comes, we are ready :)
So, don't give up okay. Just try your best for this upcoming A2 TRIALS. I know this post is not for you guys but more to convincing myself to not give up and stop saying nonsense. hehe

I know this post is not for you guys but more to convincing myself to not give up and stop saying nonsense. hehe
GO FARAH GO! Belajar kerana ALLAH. Fake it till you make it :)

Comeback
Assalamualaikum :D
Just something to ponder for I think most of us will experience this kind of thing once in a teenage life. Sad to say that I'm ending my teenage ...teen life in a few months. haha Anyhow, just take it positively and expect more adventures from a twenty-year-old FARAH ELIENA. hihi I will just post some videos and animations to answer and convey my messages today so please enjoy the songs and I hope that you guys can learn and gain something valuable from today's post. hehe Let us start then bebeh.
So then as you have seen in the video, some of us may have slipped from the track in guiding our heart and happen to like 'somebody'. However, it didn't turn out well for me. He just left. haha It's not that I want to have a serious relationship blergh. I just hope to be friends normally but then the other party doesn't seem to favor me as a friend and decided to cut everything off. Well, there's more than that to life right? haha Not big deal you say. Yeah. I went on with my life perfectly of course. But sometimes, my mind went wandering elsewhere and ended up thinking about 'tuut'. It was hard at first. Eventually I learn to handle those thoughts and distract myself. Try listening to dzikir pagi and dzikir petang. Do dzikir in silent mode. It helped a lot.:) Mesti banyak pahala dia dapat. haha
Hihi. Now is the time to lock it up and guide it well. Find hobbies. Learn lots of new things. Enjoy new environment in Edinburgh. STUDY HARD FOR A2. You won't be losing anything. Don't worry.
Next is doing what Michelle want to say. These steps should be done hand in hand with the animation above I guess. Best gile kan cara dia speak :)
Last one are the two most important videos. MUST WATCH IT TILL THE END. May these videos answer all your doubt on what are the things that need to be done if you have a same problem. Ciao.
So, that's the end of this writing. Hope you enjoy and let us pray to be the best Muslimah ever.

Edinburgh UK
Assalamualikum :D
I will be walking down Frederick Street this coming October. AMIN INSHAALLAH. AMIN.
Alhamdulillah, rezeki dan hikmah ALLAH tu kita manusia xnampak kan. Tersembunyi dan kdg2 lamaa baru appear. Sebab tu kena selalu yakin no matter what happen. Although benda buruk berlaku, yakin lah sangat2 yakin yg benda baik is and ARE coming. Berusaha and keep praying. Betulkan niat :) Doakan saya.
It's hard but worth the try :)
No one likes to fall. And few people would ever choose to drown. But in struggling through the ocean of this life, sometimes it’s so hard not to let the world in. Sometimes the ocean does enter us. The dunya does seep into our hearts.
And like the water that breaks the boat, when dunya enters, it shatters our heart. It shatters the boat. Recently, I was reminded of what a broken boat looks like, of what happens when you let everything in. I was reminded because I saw someone, just like me, fall in love too much with this life and seek to be filled by the creation. So the ocean of dunya shattered her boat, as it had shattered mine, and she fell out into the water. But she stayed down too long, and didn’t know how to come back up or what to hold on to.
So she drowned.
If you allow dunya to own your heart, like the ocean that owns the boat, it will take over. You will sink down to the depths of the sea. You will touch the ocean floor. And you will feel as though you were at your lowest point. Entrapped by your sins and the love of this life, you will feel broken. Surrounded by darkness. That’s the amazing thing about the floor of the ocean. No light reaches it.
But, this dark place is not the end. Remember that the darkness of night precedes the dawn. And as long as your heart still beats, this is not the death of it. You don’t have to die here. Sometimes, the ocean floor is only a stop on the journey. And it is when you are at this lowest point, that you are faced with a choice. You can stay there at the bottom, until you drown. Or you can gather pearls and rise back up—stronger from the swim, and richer from the jewels.
If you seek Him, God can raise you up, and replace the darkness of the ocean, with the light of His sun. He can transform what was once your greatest weakness into your greatest strength, and a means of growth, purification and redemption. Know that transformation sometimes begins with a fall. So never curse the fall. The ground is where humility lives. Take it. Learn it. Breathe it in. And then come back stronger, humbler and more aware of your need for Him. Come back having seen your own nothingness and His greatness. Know that if you have seen that Reality, you have seen much. For the one who is truly deceived is the one who sees his own self—but not Him. Deprived is the one who has never witnessed his own desperate need for God. Reliant on his own means, he forgets that the means, his own soul, and everything else in existence are His creation.
Seek God to bring you back up, for when He does, He will rebuild your ship. The heart that you thought was forever damaged will be mended. What was shattered will be whole again. Know that only He can do this. Seek Him.
And when He saves you, beg forgiveness for the fall, feel remorse over it—but not despair. As Ibn ul Qayyim (ra) has said: “Satan rejoiced when Adam (peace be upon him) came out of Paradise, but he did not know that when a diver sinks into the sea, he collects pearls and then rises again.”
There is a powerful and amazing thing about tawbah (repentance) and turning back to Allah (swt). We are told that it is a polish for the heart. What’s amazing about a polish is that it doesn’t just clean. It makes the object that is polished even shinier than it was before it got dirty. If you come back to God, seek His forgiveness, and refocus your life and heart on Him, you have the potential to be even richer than if you’d never fallen at all. Sometimes falling and coming back up gives you wisdom and humility that you may never otherwise have had. Ibn ul Qayyim (ra) writes:
“One of the Salaf (Pious Predecessors) said: “Indeed a servant commits a sin by which he enters Paradise; and another does a good deed by which he enters the Fire.” It was asked: How is that? So he replied: “The one who committed the sin, constantly thinks about it; which causes him to fear it, regret it, weep over it and feel ashamed in front of his Lord—the Most High—due to it. He stands before Allah, broken-hearted and with his head lowered in humility. So this sin is more beneficial to him than doing many acts of obedience, since it caused him to have humility and humbleness—which leads to the servant’s happiness and success—to the extent that this sin becomes the cause for him entering Paradise. As for the doer of good, then he does not consider this good a favor from his Lord upon him. Rather, he becomes arrogant and amazed with himself, saying: I have achieved such and such, and such and such. So this further increases him in self-adulation, pride and arrogance—such that this becomes the cause for his destruction.”
Allah (swt) reminds us in the Qur’an to never lose hope. He says: “Say, ‘O My servants who have transgressed against their souls [by sinning], despair not of the mercy of Allah. Indeed, Allah forgives all sins. Indeed, it is He who is the Forgiving, the Merciful,’” (39:53).
And so, this is a call to all those who have become enslaved by the tyranny of the self, imprisoned in the dungeon of the nafs (self) and desires. It is a call to all those who have entered the ocean of dunya, who have sunk into its depths, and become trapped by its crushing waves. Rise up. Rise up to the air, to the Real world above the prison of the ocean. Rise up to your freedom. Rise up and come back to life. Leave the death of your soul behind you. Your heart can still live and be stronger and purer than it ever was. Does not the polish of tawbah remake the heart even more beautiful than it was? Remove the veil you have sewn with your sins. Remove the veil between you and Life, between you and Freedom, between you and Light—between you and God. Remove the veil and rise up. Come back to yourself. Come back to where you began. Come back Home. Know that when all the other doors have shut in your face, there is One that is always open. Always. Seek it. Seek Him and He will guide you through the waves of the cruel ocean, into the mercy of the sun.
This world cannot break you—unless you give it permission. And it cannot own you unless you hand it the keys – unless you give it your heart. And so, if you have handed those keys to dunya for a while—take them back. This isn’t the End. You don’t have to die here. Reclaim your heart and place it with its rightful owner:
God.
