Assalamualaikum :p

Some points that I feel important at the moment (at this point of life). That help me through rough days. I have been feeling so down and low-spirited these days. A lot of things have contributed to that. I guess I am a little bit shocked and overwhelmed by what have been happening to me. So, here goes my lists of thoughts.

1-Berteguh hatilah dalam berdoa kepada Allah S.W.T
2-Yakin dengan pertolongan Allah. Kemenangan itu pasti datang.
3- Kalau kita betul betul nak kan Allah, usaha bersungguh-sungguh ke arah tu. Baca, belajar, usaha      utk dapatkan ilmu Allah. InshaAllah Allah janji untuk memudahkan urusan ke arah jalan tu.

***

4-Some people come into your life to teach you how to let go
5-If there's any good in what've left, it would've stayed
6-Seriously, you need to forget about him. Stop trying to rationalise his actions and his words towards you. Maybe, just maybe, he really meant to do good and interested to know about your life here or   maybe just about Edinburgh (whatever that was). But, not anymore. It's not worth it. He's not for you. Learn to accept that, please. Haha
7-Stay strong and move on
8-Stop focusing on a black dot on a piece of white paper.
9-Focus on the wider empty space that is waiting to be filled with more precious, exciting and happy memories.
10-Greeted by CK and James Nehaul on my way back from Kings Buildings this evening. They were on their bikes heading to KB, and received a sweet smile from a sweet girl in front of the national library. Godsent happiness every time I was walking home sad. Be grateful Farah Asri :)

A Trip to Dublin :)

Assalamualaikum :p

On the 25th till 27th November, I went to Tia's place over the weekend. I stayed at Syafikah Ahmad's and Mirazmy's place on the first day. She brought me to dinner and met Nazual as well. It was a nice reunion for all of us. Everyone was all grown up and matured. I was just happy to meet them again. They were all nice and pretty. Met Syud, Mim and Ada as well. SOme old and new friends.

Well, she was but I watched a movie next to her and Nizam and Shaqil :)

This is the library for the Medical students (I think)

This is the interior.
Would be spend my weekends here if I were to study here

Meet NIZAM ! Such a cool and hardworking and kind one.
You'll make a great doctor Nizam. Keep it up.

On Sunday, meet up with Syadia at
Imsomnia Cafe
Nice chit chat we had :)

Chocolate free pun okay lahhh.
Shaqil belanja me a hot chocolate from Butlers.
Cheers gang.

Cool kids on the block (Dublin City Centre)

Thank you guys for showing me around.
Good luck in your clinical years back home.

Selfie wajib dengan Shaqil satu before leaving.

Thanks Mamu and Muzakkir for coming even for a lil while.
See you in Penang !

Thank you Tia and Syafik !
Dublin was nice.
Meeting u guys was even better :)

I arrived at the airport at 4.30 a.m. It was amazingly quite busy early morning. I passed the security at about 5.00 a.m and I waited till 5.35 a.m. for the gate to be advised. I went into the shops and got myself a peach tea. Nothing much to do when you were still sleepy. Hahaha

Good to be back.
But, not good to need to rush to a
9 am lecture and 10-12 lab. LOL

Finally, the doors of Dublin. I had fun taking photos with the rainbow coloured doors. They were the main attractions of Dublin actually. C'mon Malaysians, we can be creative as well. :)

That's it for now. Till next time Dubs.

Half Way Through Third Year

Assalamualaikum :p

Happy new year everyone. It's  nearly two weeks over 2017.  I am turning 23 years old this year. I just got back from my winter break. I went to London, Budapest, Vienna, Salzburg and Prague. The trip was nothing but amazing. The new term will start in a few days (16th January). I am half way through my third year now. That being said, if I pass al of my courses last semester. InshaAllah, hopefully.

This year will be me going through spring, summer, autumn for the second last time. I want to graduate excellently, but at the same time, I am too in love with Edinburgh and the UK that I sometimes feel like not leaving. Even for the non-UK residents, the services and the quality of life that I have here are so much better than back home. Makes me wonder why are human rights are strictly preserved here and not the same back home. The answer is it's up to us to go back and spread the good things we learn from living here.

My subject for this term is Field Skill for Geologist. It is a full field trip course. I already had one (two weeks) field trip last summer. Another one will be a nine-day-trip to Spain and the last one is a nine-day-trip to Mull, Scotland. Next course is called Practical Geochemistry and Data Analysis. This was the course I hated so much from last semester. This year will be a lab-based project and a write-up report. Hope I will survive this and pass the course. There are lots of programming as well.

The third course is Igneous, Metamorphic and Ore Processes. No idea what's waiting for me but I hope it's a good one. No comment on this course yet. It's a new course. Everything is new for our year. Kate is the Course Organiser. (Could be a good thing as she is very organised.) The last one is the most erk course for me. Structural Analysis and Rock Regions by Florian. I am flipping scared for this course as he is also our Course Organiser for the mapping project (our kind of Final Year Project this summer). I really really hope things will go smoothly until graduation.

There are going to be a lot of lab works and journal reading and hard work to survive this term. Hence, Farah Asri, please focus and improve yourself. Stop thinking rubbish and ignore the people that have done hurtful things to you. Leave them here. Be happy and forgive, forgive and forgive.
Stop analysing and trying to give reasons for why they did what they did. They simply don't care. Leave it and move on. It's all parts and parcels of life. :)

Till next post.
